2014-2017 > Arche/Structure

*Yellow rope wrapped around the pillar was part of the exhibition space prior to my installation

The gutter is reconstituted proportionate to the footprint of the building, suggesting its borders and the delineation of space being linked to the controlled flow of water. The plaster tiles each feature the impressions of a demolished roof and compliment the residue found in the gutter, an index of a past structure. The interior dimensions of the gutter are identical to the dimensions of the photograph displayed directly behind.
